Module 7: Teaching in the Inpatient Setting

Who are the Learners?

  1. Medical students
  2. Interns and residents
  3. Attending physician
  4. Patients
  5. Other members of the multidisciplinary team

Learning takes place among everyone involved in patient care. Each member of the team has a different learning pathway. Each learner has a different agenda for the inpatient experience. Despite the various levels of previous experience, the most comfortable learning environments involve 360 degree learning where each participant learns from one another.
